I have been a complete lazy git today! Here is a breakdown of my day .....
12.30pm (ish) got up out of bed :o)
had a shower and got dressed after slobbing about in a pair of boxys watching some tv
2pm had lunch
txt some friends
posted on some blogs
had 3 calls from other friends (same friend twice - dozy git)
joined Facebook (lol)
Researched my family Coat of Arms - very nice it is too :o)
filled the dishwasher
downloaded some music from itunes
just heading out to collect my dinner from the take-away
to come .....
chat on msn
post messages on blogs
go to bed
What a great slobby day :o)

I do a lot of genealogy research for my family tree - spend hours at the records office in Edinburgh. I have managed to go back to the 1700's on my mum and dads side of the family. Amazing what you can find out! Some of my dads ancestors fought with Bonnie Prince Charlie and were gifted land for their help. I love family history. I'm heading off to London soon to research my grans family who lived there. I'll post the family crest and info about genealogy in a post sometime soon - fascinating ...or I am a geek! lol

scots-i DID find you lol btw my dad's ancestors are of scottish and welsh decent. i don't know if i could be arsed to actually do the WORK to find my crest. requires too much effort. and i'm a slob remember? lol

howdy, just stopping by...genealogy is a fun past-time, given that a person has time! It's interesting to learn of the various peoples/family, and the different time periods and goings ons. (esp when you find ancestors on opposing sides of conflicts)
